科研人員利用改造皮膚細(xì)胞獲取iPS細(xì)胞
圣保羅大學(xué)醫(yī)療系的科研人員zui近取得了利用改造皮膚基因獲取誘導(dǎo)多功能干細(xì)胞(iPS細(xì)胞)的科研成果。
該項(xiàng)研究的目的是通過在成人細(xì)胞中植入基因以將成人細(xì)胞改造為iPS細(xì)胞。一些上的研究項(xiàng)目也曾使用過這種技術(shù),但當(dāng)進(jìn)行過基因改造后的iPS細(xì)胞被植入動物體內(nèi)后會導(dǎo)致腫瘤產(chǎn)生。
此次科研人員在研究過程中使用了SOX2、C-MYC和另一匿名基因修改人類成人皮膚細(xì)胞,成功將其改造成了iPS細(xì)胞,并避免了腫瘤的產(chǎn)生。目前該研究小組正在繼續(xù)努力以揭示出這些細(xì)胞擁有的其他特點(diǎn)以及其潛在的治療功能。
